Who Are We?
Our Mission
The Atomic Underground’s mission is to foster passion and community through reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
The arts are instrumental in translating experiences, instilling values, and changing public opinions. Art joins people together across time and space; through both creation and appreciation, it validates life.
With this belief, The Atomic Underground connects authors, artists, and musicians with audiences so that they may inform, persuade, and entertain them.
What do we publish?
We like HUMAN work—fiction, non-fiction, drama, poetry, or prose. If it’s good, and we can contextualize it into a market, we could be interested.
We aren’t interested in rants or your politics. Save those for your therapist.
Who are we looking for?
We want 2 basic things:
- 1. People whose work we admire that we want to deal with.
- 2. People who are willing to promote their work and attend events to network, sell books, be accessible to their proposed audiences, and be a part of the community that is The Atomic Underground.
Why The Atomic Underground?
Because you like supporting real writers and the local arts! Instead of funding the space fantasies of Jeff Bezos, you could fund ours!
- We believe that our writers are some of the best and most engaging writers out there.
- We want the world to meet them and come to admire their works as much as we do.
- They will entertain and inspire you!
Do you want to participate?
We welcome business who wish to partner with the local arts and volunteers who may like to participate in creating great events, both live and virtual!
